Medios libres y Movimientos Sociales - Foro Social Mundial México 2010 México D.F., 7 de mayo de 2010 (Cencos / Papel de Aguas).- La Otra Campaña del EZLN, la Asamblea Popular de Pueblos de Oaxaca (APPO), la Red Mexicana de Afectados por la Minería (REMA), la Alianza Mexicana por la Autodeterminación de los Pueblos (AMAP) y otros muchos espacios de lucha nacional en México fueron impulsados con la participación de Beatriz Alberta Cariño Trujillo, activista e indígena de la región mixteca de Oaxaca. Bety Cariño murió asesinada el pasado 27 de abril luego de que una caravana humanitaria que llevaba víveres y ayuda a la comunidad sitiada de San Juan Copala, fuera atacada por un grupo paramilitar. Ella y Jyry Jakkola, observador internacional de origen finlandés, murieron bajo una lluvia de balas dentro de sus camionetas. Read more…
